Description
Something rather different this time. It has to do with sprites, but I'm trying a different style. Here is one of my original characters - Diana the L&YR High Flyer - in Cj-The-Creator and LeMuffinQueen's style.
Diana is Edward the Blue Engine's honest, sweet and kind-hearted - although a bit too passive - love interest in my canon. She fell into a coma between 1942 (when William - a spiteful Furness D5 - murdered her with explosives) and 2015. She is back after 73 years in obscurity and pulls main line semi-fasts and even rail tours.
Diana is based on a Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Class 7 Atlantic. These engines were built between 1899 and 1902. They were nicknamed "High-Flyers" because of their big driving wheels and that they could go very fast. They were among the very first super-heated engines in Great Britain and - perhaps - the world. All were withdrawn by 1935, and unfortunately none were saved for preservation.
